In the time of Ancient Egypt there was the idea that fish symbols were lucky for lovers and are one of the most lucky gifts that sweethearts or lovers can give to each other. This is particularly true for those born under the water signs of Aquarius and Pisces. Aso the ancient Romans and Greeks believed that a fish object brought good luck in courtship and marriage, perhaps because Venus, goddess of love, was closely connected with water.
According to the Chinese a picture of a fir tree is meant to be a powerful good luck mascot. And of course we use fir trees to create our own Christmas trees every year. This belief may have originated from the idea that the fir tree is an evergreen symbolizing long life.
